The
Sabra Callas Quartet is available for corporate functions, private parties, festivals,
receptions and any type of event that needs the energy of live
performance, coupled with the synergy of a band of highly talented
players.
If your event calls
for the energy of a band that can perform a variety of jazz, blues
and popular standards, either as background entertainment,
interactive audience participation or both, look no further.
This
ensemble consists of highly seasoned performers comprising a variety of
instrumentation including guitar, vocals, saxophone, flute, drums,
and bass. All of these players have been performing throughout the
East Coast and other regions of the U.S. with some of the best known
entertainers in the field, each of them acting as an integral piece
of the entire performance.

(Guitar/Vocals)
With 20 years of experience in a variety of genres,
Sabra has a soulful, sultry voice, dynamic stage presence and rock-solid guitar skills in jazz, blues, rock, R&B, folk and country.
Sabra is comfortable either as a background performer or out front
and thrives on connecting with the crowd and the other band members.
Her enthusiasm and playful attitude make her approachable and a joy
to work with. In addition to her stage experience, Sabra
is a published songwriter.
Michael Bondra
(Keyboards, Bass)
If
it has black and white keys and resembles a keyboard, Michael can
play it. He also doubles as the bass player by playing
keyboard bass with the left hand. A former Mickey Mouse Club
Talent Round-Up Winner from Cleveland, Ohio, he began playing
professionally at a very early age. Michael is extremely
versatile and can play any and all styles. His years of experience
as an accomplished musician are quite evident as you hear him play
the keyboard. Michael delivers a tremendous amount of music and at
times he appears to be a one-man band and a lot of fun on stage.
Dean
Adelman (Drums)
Playing as a percussionist since he
was ten years old and professionally since his years in high
school, Dean has been involved in various music ensembles of all
genres. He began his basic training in grade school and proceeded
on through college, receiving musical scholarships at Broward
Community College, the University of Florida, the University of
South Florida, and finally trained at the prestigious University
of Miami. "Dr. Dean", a family practice physician in
Fort Mill, South Carolina, is winner of the October 1996 Sam Ashe
Drum-Off drumset contest, as well as a recipient of a multitude of
performance awards in his native South Florida. Dean continues to
teach part time and gives occasional drum set clinics locally.
Dean has a contagious smile and brings an exciting energy to the
stage.
Carmen Giardino
(Flute, Saxophone)
Carmen has many years of experience on Flute, Alto, Tenor, and Baritone sax's.
His genres span a vast array from jazz to blues to Motown to beach.
If it has a melody, Carmen will find it. Carmen's
professional background includes work with “Billy
Scott & The Profits”, The "Summerdaze” Band, Greg Mosely &
the Carolina Players out of Holden Beach, & many others. His background includes working with other well-known variety bands
such as “The Turbans” Formerly “The
Coasters.”
His many years
of experience offer us a wide variety of musical styles to
draw from and his repertoire is a veritable melting pot of unforgettable
standards. Carmen's formal music education includes a music major at Winthrop
College, .Hillsborough Community College, Tampa, Florida; and ongoing continued
education in private music study.
